Catholic Charities NH is one of the state’s largest social services organizations, providing a wide range of vital services and programs throughout New Hampshire that address issues such as poverty, food insecurity, mental health, substance use, protection of the elderly, homelessness among veterans and emotional and behavioral disabilities among children.
Catholic Charities NH’s mission is to provide quality services that heal, comfort and empower the poor and vulnerable. Our services assist diverse populations encompassing all stages of life, bringing positive change and lasting impact to the lives of newborns, children, teens, adults, families and the elderly. We serve approximately 1-in-13 residents statewide and our services are available to anyone, regardless of their religion, race, gender, age or ability to pay.
Catholic Charities NH is comprised of two divisions – social services and healthcare services. Our social services programs are wide-ranging, serving individuals facing significant and often unpredictable life challenges such as those related to financial distress; a lack of food, shelter and clothing; mental health; and the sobering uncertainty for what tomorrow will bring.
Our healthcare services deliver compassionate and person-centered care supporting the unique needs of the elderly across the state, enabling them to achieve their highest level of independence and live their lives to the fullest each day. We own and/or operate seven award-winning skilled nursing facilities that provide various short-term and long-term care services.
