DESCRIPTION:This is an opportunity for anyone interested to learn about the Suzuki Method of teaching music.  The Manchester Community Music School has a large Suzuki Program\, including lessons in violin\, piano\, and flute.  The Suzuki Method\, begun in the mid-twentieth century by Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki\, begins with students significantly younger than with traditional music lessons\, and requires more parental involvement.  Suzuki instruction emphasizes listening\, imitation\, and ear-training rather than immediate reading. Join us here to meet some of our Suzuki teachers\, hear some of our students play\, ask any questions you may have\, and learn how the method works.
