Laughter for a cause Queen City Rotary Club holds annual Comedy Bowl fundraiser on January 25th! Great food and fun will be on the menu as the Queen City Rotary Club hosts its annual comedy bowl fundraiser later this month. The event, which includes a buffet dinner, comedy show and cash bar, will take place on Saturday, January 31 at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at Eventbrite “The comedy bowl is one of our most important fund raisers,” said Heather Francoeur, Club President of the Queen City Rotary Club. “And 100% of the proceeds from the event will directly benefit youth charities and agencies across Greater Manchester.” Comedians will include Mark Riley, Kyle Crawford, and Will Noonan. Ms. Francoeur shared that the Club donates more than $50,000 each year to area non-profits which serve children in need. “Our club-through donations and community service-is dedicated to supporting a host of critical safety net organizations and we invite the community to join us for this impactful fundraiser.” “Sponsors play a critical role in supporting the event,” she added. “We are very grateful for all they do in support of the Club.” Major sponsors include Clark Insurance, Coca Cola Beverages Northeast, Crown Chimney, The Elliott, Eastern Propane, Harvey Construction and Rockland Trust Bank.
